Here is a sure fire way to help any business research a market. I use alot of paid tools but there are plenty of free ways to do some adequate market research.
1. Magazines.com
This is a greatplace tostart your market research. As a general rule if your market doesn’t have a magazine on this website there is a very good chance that the market is not profitable enough to operate a business and generate a full time income for at least one person.
2. Google News
Make sure you sign up for news around the two or three main keywords within yourtarget market. Set up email alerts within it and get them sent daily. This will help you understand what your competitors and readers are talking about.
3. Google Blogs
Quite similar to Google News, but this allows you to look at what the public are talking about. This is paramount if you are going to have a relevant, custmer facing business.
4. Firefox For Seo
Firefox if you don’t already know if an alternative to microsoft’s internet explorer. I prefer Firefox because of the speed but also the add ons you can get.
